Yes. We can coordinate the deck, structure, cover, railing, drainage, lighting, heating, kitchen, fireplace, and related features as part of one overall project.

Can you add a cover to my existing deck?

Sometimes. The existing footings, posts, beams, framing, and connections need to be evaluated to determine whether they can support the additional loads.

Can you build an outdoor kitchen on aN EXISTING deck?

Often, but the structure and utilities need to be evaluated first. Kitchens can add substantial weight and may require electrical, gas, plumbing, and additional framing.

Do outdoor living spaces require permits?

Most do, particularly when structural work, roofs, electrical, gas, or plumbing are involved. Requirements vary by jurisdiction, and Endura can coordinate permitting when required.

Can you combine covered and uncovered areas?

Absolutely — this is one of the most popular layouts. Many times, the lower level will be the covered level with waterproofing incorporated on the deck above. The deck above can be designed with or without a cover depending upon your home and your outdoor living space goals.

What materials work best for outdoor living spaces?

PVC (Azek Vintage) offers the best long‑term performance in Northwest weather.

How long does an outdoor living project take?

Most projects take 3–8 weeks depending on size and complexity.

Can you add electrical and lighting?

Yes. We coordinate lighting, outlets, televisions, heaters, fans, appliances, and other electrical needs as part of the project.

Can you install outdoor heaters?

Yes. Endura Decking Co installs both gas and electric (infrared) heaters. Many times, a gas line will be required if a gas heater is requested. We integrate IR Energy outdoor heating systems into many of our covered outdoor living projects because of the comfortable heat these heaters offer year round.
